Hello,

I am a new member here, I live in slovenia.I had a Mantua models 1:8 nitro car for about 8 years and I still had it but I bought myself this tamiya TT01 about 2 weeks ago.I am very satisfied with chassis.I bought also a LRP-HPI 17T motor,LRP runner plus reverse ESC,Carson oil dampers and two LRP 3300 accu packs.I can say it is actually very good setup for drifting and also quite fast setup for racing.For now I am drifting on duck tape, but I will make new "drift" tyres from PVC or ABS tube.








What do you think about the car?Is my english good?(I am 15 years old)

Looks great, good photos too. The E30 is one of my favorite 1:1 cars.

Gun metal Grey? looks good in that colour, i was going to go that colour but went with the trusty old Black!

After a long time, here are some new pictures.I did also a few new modifications.I replaced the stock bearings, with ballbearings, and also changed the main shaft with aluminium one.I had a accident with motor(lrp 17t), some little stones came in while I was driving and they badly damaged the rotor.So I bought new one.I decided for NOSRAM Vision Modified 17x2.It is not so powerful that LRP was, but it is OK.In near future I will buy a carbon conversion kit from 3Racing.

One update again I dont know if i can call it an update, but anyway, few days ago I went with my friend to the local electronics shop. And I have bought a rear red light for a bycicle. Hmm, yeah ofcourse I have used it to make a flashing LED circuit. The LEDs can now flash in 6 different modes. In the video are just few of them.

BTW I will probably going to buy an Asso TC5 in the end of the year or in the begining of the next year.

dnt supose you cud gimmie sum details on the light kit you used could you?

kempie: So what I actually did is unsolder the red LEDs from the circuit(i can take photo if you want) and soldered my white LED-s to it.

kempie: the light had 5 leds(5 milimeter), is that what you want to know? Sorry because i cant understand perfectly what did you want to know.

Here is an update, actually a big one I bought a new chassis, its a HB Cyclone(black carbon edition) with some hopups. Chassis is actually second hand, but its like new one(just much cheaper).Ofcourse it is going to be drift spec as soon as possible. But if you can believe it or not, I didnt do the test run yet. I am waiting for the weekend and for a better weather.

also, i wondered, what wheels do you have on the chassis? they look mint!

I bought it for 170 euros Wheels are from the TT01 BMW E30 kit. I do not know if you can buy them separately
