Full Version: My shell for Silverstone

Saw this shell in one of my local model hsops a while back, but was put off by the internal graphics. The guy at the shop assured me they were internal decals and could be removed, so I went ahead. After opening it, I found that the graphics are actually paint.





As you can see on the picture above, the instructions said I had to cut out the light lenses.........:o
The buckets were nice:


And they came with plastic covers to be fitted:


Also the shell came with a full rear diffuser, mirrors, chrome door andles and an exhaust:

After finding out the graphics were here to stay, I decided to paint the shell a simple white to bring it out:








Looked nice driving round yesterday, all ready for Silverstone next weekend.

Hot works make a few different shells mate, and Tamiyas these days come with light buckets and stuff. Try your local model shop or Ebay........

Nah, he was busy, had to have a crack at this one myself.........For those of you wondering, some chancer named Jack Cook tried to claim photos of mine and Stus cars that we had put on Facebook, cheeky barsteward.

Simple and elegant drift machine brother! I have never heard of internal decal other than waterslide. This is very interesting and the result looks great!
