Hyperdrift DriftCon1 RC Drift Event

Where: Fast Pace Racing (inside) San Jose, CA
When: Saturday March 27, 2010 @ 7pm
Registration Fee: $20 due by MARCH 19th after there's a late fee

Note that no one will be allowed on the track prior to 7pm. Track layout will be released a few weeks before the comp. You can pay your reg fees through cash or by paypal. If you choose paypal, just pm me and I'll send you the information. I might create a new paypal account for hypernorcal. I'll be posting the final registration list based on the pre-reg thread.

Rules and regs are already posted on the forum. D1 rules in effect, regular T-drifts only. Note, if you guys break check, and we (the judges) see the car's wheels stop, or the car stops, points will count against you. So don't play dirty, just run a clean line.

For you guys wanting to know what the surface is, it's polished concrete.

Start practicing!

Hmmm 7pm start... That's different. biggrin.gif

If I'm understanding this correctly, we can only see the track layout but not practice it? Hopefully we'll get some practice time before the comp...

The track layout will be relased 2 weeks before the comp so you can get a feel for it. There will be some practice time, but I want to break it into groups. One of the probs that I noticed in other comps is that when everyone jumps on, there's too many people on the track (esp with beginners). So what ends up happening is that people spend more time avoiding crashing cars than really practicing.

After driver orientation, there will be practice time. Also, in between quals and tandems there will be some time as well while we make the brackets.
