Haha those tires are stretched, I never liked the fad. Anyways I need to get my hands on a miata body for my RC car. (Miata Drift fan boy) Where did you pick it up?

I like that look. Don't like the functionality of it, but I like the look. 2 suggestions. Wide body that Miata or get a flared body for those wheel/tires combo.

The tires reminds me of the blue rotory Miata I once saw. Some of the old school JDM has this kind of tires on it and I think it looks sweet and mean. I had been trying to locate just the body without getting the whole kit for quite some time. Since I drive a 1st Gen Miata as my daily communter, it would be sweet to get that body for my drifter. I already have a 4WD chassis waiting for it. The closest one I can find is from ABC hobby but it is a 2nd Gen Miata instead. :( If anyone knows where I can get just the body. Please post the source. :) Thanks.

what a great idea for stretched tires look! The offset looks great too!!!Looks like 1:1 scale. The shell is very unique. A+++

actually it handles better with the tires like this then with the stock tires. it grips really good and corners great.

jeffho830:i dont know where u can get a 1st gen miata body for a 190mm chassis. the m-04 chassis is smaller then a normal 1/10th scale and its only rwd. basicily its a scale 1/10ths scale. just like in real life if u were to park a miata next to say a s15. the miata would be noticably smaller. this chassis is the same way.anyways ill keep on the look out for any miata bodies that will fit a 190mm chassis

thanks for the comments guys

I did saw a 190mm full scale 1/10 1st Gen Miata body on a Japanese auction site once. It was sitting on a TA03 chassis. On my search for a Miata body, found out that the HPI RS4 Mini is able to have 2 wheelbases. 208mm for the Mini Cooper body and 225mm for their Civic body. 225mm wheelbase is the exact wheelbase the M-04m has, so perfect for that Tamiya Miata body. I have a 2nd HPI RS4 mini chassis sitting along side with my Mini Cooper waiting for a Miata body. :) I did get the ABC hobby Miata body planning to put that on the Mini Cooper chassis, whenver that is.
