All you need to know? Well, for a start off, it's at the rather lovely Eastbourne ECC venue that seems to guarantee us good weather and, thanks to the club, a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere - which is why we chose Eastbourne!

The event is over 3 days, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10-12 August....this weekend! Each day kicks off at 9am and the cost of entry is just 15 per day - simply pay at registration. If you are staying overnight, camping is just 5 per tent. Modestly priced hot food / drinks will be available at various times through the day and there is a 240v supply available in the pits for charging of cells. Loos and simple wash facilities are available 24/7.

This is a fun event, open to anyone, but we'll still have proper, genuine, highly desirable D1RC Olympic medals for all event winners plus a special trophy for the highest medal winner each day, plus some great HPI raffle prizes.

Each day we'll run the same event sequence, as below:

Eastbourne D1RC Venue

The track is located off the A22 to the West of Hailsham.

From North:-

Locate & Head South on the A22 towards Eastbourne (the A22 is Junction 6 off the M25). The A22 after a big roundabout (Boship Roundabout, including Travelodge, Total Petrol Station & Boship Farm Hotel) turns into a dual carriageway to Polegate & Eastbourne. Follow this dual carriageway south to the next roundabout (1 mile(ish)), take the 4th exit which is a complete U Turn to come back down the A22 heading North, the track is the second field exit directly off the A22 on the left.

From South:-

Locate & Head North on the A22 towards London. On the A22 Dual Carriageway head north finding a roundabout with a left and right turning, the left turn takes you to Knockhatch Adventure Park, continue straight over this roundabout, the track is the second field exit directly off the A22 on the left. If you miss the track entrance you will continue North to the roundabout described above (Boship Roundabout).

If you do arrive early, we suggest you park off of one of the roundabout exits - Petrol and food can be found at the roundabout just north of circuit, as can the local Travelodge.

For campers:

Camping is available Friday and Saturday night. Rates are 10 per caravan, 5 per tent/car/cardboard box, and is charged per night. Please pay Wendy asap on arrival, all monies go to the club

Wendy will have the usual tea/bacon cob deal on for early breakfast Friday, Saturday & Sunday but the club or Wendy will provide hot food & drinks each evening and at lunch time if you let her know you want it! If the club opens the food wagon, please use this facility to show your appreciation of their giving up their time for us.

General notes:
- This will be a nice, long, leisurely fun weekend at one of our favourite club sites. The weather forecast is good so remember to bring a silly hat/sun block. We always get burnt!

- Please keep the circuit and facilities clean and tidy. We will want to be invited back!

- We will want all competitors to run HPI T-Drift #4406 control tyres so please ensure they are fitted. We still have lots of control tyres at 12 per set of 4 and boiling water will be available. That's mega cheap btw, thanks to HPI.

That's about it.

Eastbourne..... WHOOOPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
