here is my HPI sprint 2 CS at 80%

front and rear diffs are stock 32t
front center: 10t custom pulley (alloy)
rear center 18t from cyclone w/ sprint rear belt
18t pulley and custom non adjustable tensioner to keep tension on front belt
custom steering mod

front camber: -10
rear camber: -1

32/10= 3.20
32/18= 1.77

3.2-1.77= 1.43/1.77= .80x100= 80% counter steer

i have plans to go and try out 100% counter steer, i have a custom 20t rear center pulley!

anyone with a sprint 2 looking to counter steer? custom 10t front center pulleys to make your regular 50/50 to 50% counter steer with one pulley! PM me!

now for the pics:

if you look that the front knuckels they have little stops on them that hit the bulk heads. just sand down a bit where the stops actually hit the bulk heads. im guessing that is what your talking about. censored.gif thats pretty easy now that i think about it. im an idiot for not thinking about it. i looked at the picture of your chassis and mine for hours looking to see what you changed. while the forum was down. haha

i take that back. probly better to sand off the stops rather then sand into the bulkhead

well i tryed the Countersteer thing, had my car set up with a Modified 37T front pully and 14T center front, with a 21T rear center and stock rear Diff. man was it hard to drive. going fast wasnt to bad but getting started was hard. my car kept wanting to spin out to the left. would go straight for about 2 feet then spin out. went back to stock. do you all use a front one way with the counter steer? any tips as to driving or set ups for the counter steer. i love the way it looks seeing people drive it. but just cant figure it out.

I like using the ball diff for csing. this is my other chassis. ball diff cups messed up so I tried the one way I had. with a one way I think u need to numb your brake and drag brake to 25% so u don't spin out. with a ball diff u can use more brake. it's a love hate kind out thing.

no need to sand bulk heads. just sand down c-hub bump stops and u have more lock instantly.

keep at it bro. with a sprint u have to be more aggressive. put abs tires on, make sure your toe is right and try and drift in small circles and practice trying to catch the counter steer. you'll get it bro!

toe should be 0 all around right. when i was running CS i had 10 camber up front and 7 camber in rear with o toe. soft front shock layed down up front and medium up and down shocks in the rear. and like i said when i was wide open getting around the track wasnt to bad. but i still had to hual censored.gif. there was no going slow haha. i guess ill give it anouther try this weekend.

also does your car have an issue with spinning out if you just go straight?

I want to get more steering angle out of mine, and I modded the C-hubs so they're no longer hitting, but now my steering angle is limited by the drive shafts...they're HPI CVD upgrades too. How do you guys get more angle out of the car without hitting those U-joint limits?

I am having the same problem. I think I'm going to order some R31 or VDF high angle cvd's and try to make some hybrid's from them and a set of HPI's. It may not work but I'm willing to find out for more angle.
