After a fun day out at Snetterton Park MCC, ‘c9vev’ has created a 5 minute long video of some of the drivers that attend D1RC events doing there thing. Those of you looking to join in the EU event later in June will want to watch it to gauge what the track may be like on the day and to see just what you’ll be drifting on.

Anyway, enjoy: YouTube Link

We are having another get together for some drift practice at High Wycombe on the 9th March. The usual D1RC regs apply except for that ABS is allowed. There will be a little, friendly drift competition and a lot of practicing and all that so it’s a great day to attend for those haven’t been to a D1RC meet before.

More information including directions, times and cost can be found here: Link

Finally the gallery is 99% finished and all the photos from the events we’ve hosted in the past have been uploaded so now you can see how D1RC has developed over the past 3 years. Follow the link on the sidebar to the left or by following the link at the top underneath the header image.

Also, Stu’ (c9vev) has just finished editing his video footage that was taken at High Wycombe last Sunday. Either go to the downloads section where you can find links to all the currently available videos or follow this link: here

As Stu’ puts himself, “As usual, crap uploaded quality, bad choons and poor editing, its another ‘c9vev’ production.” I think he’s being a bit critical really. XD

The Euro Cup (and the UK series) entry forms are now up and ready for use. So send them in as soon as possible, please.

Euro Cup entries are restricted to 106 drivers, initially 10 drivers per EU member country until 1st April when the remaining places (if any) can be filled in entry form receipt date order (thus any entry over the 10 will remain a potential entry until all 106 entries are confirmed - if not accepted, refunds of fees will be made).

The 10 from each country will be told to us by the countries co-ordinator, anyone not in this 10, when we get each list, will go onto the potential entries list… reserve pot if you like. The potential entries list will function as said above.

To reiterate, the closing date for the 10 specified drivers for each country is 1st April, the ultimate closing date for all potential drivers is 1st May.

So to end this bulletin, I will advise all drivers that wish to compete to get their entries in as soon as possible so that they get their entry at the start of the potential drivers list so that if they are not in their countries 10 confirmed drivers list, they get the best chance to fill up any remaining spaces out of the 106.

I hope that all made sense,
Eddie

At last www.D1RC.eu is up and running with some substantial content on here, albeit looking like a bit of a construction site here and there. Using this Wordpress software rather than me having to manually code every single character in HTML should save me time and ultimately generate less errors than were present on the D1RC.co.uk site meaning that (hopefully) things should be up-to-date here.

Most sections are finished enough and sorted out, but if there is something you can’t find just make your way over to the D1RC section at the DRCCentral Forums, here’s a link for you lazy ones: LINK so that you can keep up to date on all the latest happenings in Europe/UK rc drifting wise. If you spot an error with anything, please e-mail me, my e-mail address is supplied in the ‘contact us’ page that you can get to from the side bar on the left.

Regards,

Eddie
